It won’t be long now. Sometime toward the end of this month, if all goes well, I’ll have boxes of my first children’s book delivered.

You’d think, having created art professionally for over 14 years, that I wouldn’t be excited about it anymore. I will admit I’ve had some assignments that I wasn’t too thrilled about. That’s not the case with Monster Isle.

Creating a picture book is a long and grueling process, but it’s certainly been my most enjoyable and rewarding as well. A lot of hard work and long hours go into creating the art for a picture book, not to mention all the time spent collaborating with the writer and publisher. I’m excited that the life of my first book is about to begin. I’m really looking forward to sharing it with all of you.
