Progression of “Collaboration”
This piece of art, entitled Collaborations, which was done for ImagineFX Magazine, is now featured in Spectrum 15: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art. I thought I’d share some of the initial concept sketches and details from the piece. The concept was to visualize collaborating together to achieve something or create something.
It would have been fun to illustrate the piece where the two people are trying to wrangle the monster, but the art director chose the stronger piece and I’m glad he did. I was very pleased with the result. It was a challenging piece to create in a matter of a few days.
