Mail Me Art

The Mail Me Art book, featuring 200 of the best pieces of mail art from the Mail Me Art project is now available and can be purchased here (USD) or here (GBP).

The book, lovingly put together by art champion Darren Di Lieto, features the work of some of the most exciting illustrators in the business today, including Jon Burgerman, Dan May, Kristian Olson, Michael Slack, Catalina Estrada and yours truly:-) It even features some of my other favorite illustrators, such as Alberto Cerriteño, Chet Phillips and Ryan Snook!

Check out the MailMeArt website to learn more about the book and project. And make sure to get involved in “Mail Me Art Two.”

But wait, there’s MORE! All of the artwork in the Mail Me Art project is going to be on exhibit at Red Gate Gallery in London. Specifics below:

Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

The insanely prolific Darren Di Lieto strikes again with the “Mail Me Art” book, which is now available for pre-order and features my work along with the work of many other, very talented illustrators, including some of my personal favorites such as Kristian Olson, Catalina Estrada, Michael Slack and Alberto Cerriteño. Following is the blurb about the book from the site …

Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers brings together a selection of some of the best pieces submitted to the Mail Me Art project over the course of the year it ran. In addition to the wide variety of contemporary artwork, the book includes an in-depth insight into the project plus a series of seventeen interviews with artists such as Jon Burgerman, Catalina Estrada, Dan May, Jeff Miracola, Michael Slack, Kristian Olson, and many more, providing a unique insight into their work and involvement in the project. Mail Me Art: Going Postal with the World’s Best Illustrators and Designers is now available to pre-order on Amazon.

There will also be an exhibit of the work from the book at Red Gate Gallery in London from April 3 - 9, 2009. Head over to the Mail Me Art web site to learn more about the book and exhibit.
